Garbage and Recycling Information

Municipal Garbage Pick up

  • Garbage must be put out by 6:30AM.
  • Household waste only. No Animal waste.
  • Garbage bags or cans not to exceed 40lbs.
  • 45 Gallon drums are not considered acceptable garbage containers.
  • RM of Ritchot & Garbage Contractor will NOT be responsible for damage to containers.
  • Residents are reminded to keep loads secure.

 

Mondays   - Ste.Agathe, PR200, St.Adolphe, Leclaire Road & PR210.

Tuesday    - Ile Des Chenes.

Thursday  - PTH75, Red River Drive, PR210, Bernat Road, Grand Pointe &

                      Swerdyliak Road.

The alternate date for holiday pick up will be posted on the municipal website a week prior to the holiday.

Municipal Recycling Program

Materials Eligible for Collection:

  • Newspapers, Flyers, Magazines & Catalogues
  • Boxboard, Cardboard placed in the Blue Box or cut & tied to Blue Box size
  • Steel, Glass & Aluminum Food & Beverage containers
  • Gable top containers, Milk &Juice, Aseptic, Juice Boxes
  • Plastic food containers ONLY: #'s, 1,2,4,5, & 7

 

Tuesdays - Red River Drive, PTH75, St.Adolphe, St.Mary's Road, Ste.Agathe, Leclaire Road,                      PR210 to Sood Road, Sood Road, Schapansky Road, Ile-des-Chênes and                       Grande Pointe.

The alternate date for holiday pick up will be posted on the municipal website a week prior to the holiday.

 

  • It is the responsibility of the resident to purchase a recycling bin.
  • RM of Ritchot & Recycling Contractor will NOT be held responsible for damages to containers.
  • Recycling will not be picked up if it contains garbage or diapers.
  • Cardboard and box board boxes must be crushed or cut up.
