Dog Licensing
The RM of Ritchot requires all dogs in the Municipality to be licensed with our office. The Animal Control Officer may apprehend dogs that are found running at large.
The License Fees are as Follows:
New License Application
For every dog: Any breed not neutered or spayed $ 20.00
Any breed neutered or spayed $ 15.00
Renewal License Application
Application received between January 1 and February 28 of each year
For every dog: Any breed not neutered or spayed $ 20.00
Any breed neutered or spayed $ 15.00
Application received between the last day of February and December 31 of each year
For every dog: Any breed not neutered or spayed $ 30.00
Any breed neutered or spayed $ 25.00
Dog Kennel License
The license fee for dog kennels, once approved by Council, shall be $75.00 per year or portion thereof.
